We are lucky enough to have the fantastic option of Select catering, whose owner, Gayla, has prepared a wonderful ready to eat/ready to cook menu. These delicious meals are ordered prior to your holiday. Let us know what you would like and we will take care of all arrangements and your chosen dishes will be waiting in the fridge ready for your arrival at Broadwood Farm. Please do look at Gaylor's menu the food is extremely good and very reasonable.
Flora Bartlett
Fully catered for that special occasion - waitress service available
Flora lives locally and is a trained Leith's cook. She loves preparing creative dinners, lunches, brunch, breakfast, buffets and all day packages to suit your individual need. Flora will come with friendly and attentive waitresses from the surrounding villages to make your event really special.
She believes passionately in the best ingredients and well cooked food and tries to keep food miles to a minimum by using super local meat, vegetables and small suppliers; including organic beef and vegetables from her parent’s farm. Flora looks forward to cooking and serving delicious food in the wonderful surroundings at Walnut Arbour. Just let us know if you would like to book Flora and we will take care of the arrangements. "Having been a cook for a number of years in ski lodges, yachts and private estates I started a recruitment agency for cooks over 10 years ago. We specialise in finding cooks for private and commercial clients from dinner parties to full time positions. I am available privately to cater for dinner parties or weekends. I regularly cater for large groups and enjoy providing a tailor made menu for smaller groups (including children). With the abundance of fresh and local produce available in the West Country I like to source all my food locally with the support of my local suppliers."

Run by Justin and Claire Reeves, Justin has over twenty years cooking experience from La Sorbonne in Oxford to being Head Chef at Painswick House Hotel. Justin and Claire provide a fine dining experience in Dunster, again a sample menu can be viewed by visiting their website, and like the Royal Oak booking is very much advised.
The White Horse Inn at Washford
The White Horse Inn is in Washford very near to Cleeve Abbey, it has pleasant riverside gardens with a play area, and is well known for good no nonsense food
The Valiant Soldier

A friendly pub, with the emphasis on good food and good ale. Roadwater and the Valiant Soldier are on the route of the Coleridge Way.
The Hairy Dog
This is a large pub in Minehead with a huge play area, it serves very reasonably priced food and shows sky sports. It does a good Sunday Carvery, and the kids never get bored of the play area.
There are also many take away options in Minehead. From traditional fish and chips, Chinese food, Indian food, Pizzas. Further information and contact details will be found in the farmhouse.

All events have a minimum of 4hrs booking time and for any extra therapists it will be 3.5hrs on top of the 4hrs. Pets
At Broadwood Farm we welcome pets by prior arrangement.
The area is great for dog walking and we have a quality in tourism welcome pets accreditation. The garden areas are well fenced and dog proof!
We do ask that dogs are not left alone in the barn and not allowed on furniture or in bedrooms.
